We highly recommend taking part in our ‘Hire to Buy’ scheme if you’re thinking about buying a holiday home in Cornwall. This brand new initiative has been designed to give prospective homeowners the chance to stay in one of our holiday homes for sale, before committing to purchase. Booking a break in one of our eligible holiday homes or lodges is a fantastic way to experience holiday home ownership and decide whether the property is right for you. After a couple of days, or longer on our park, you’ll have all the information you’ll need to make an informed decision and take the next steps in your holiday home journey.
We encourage ‘Hire to Buy’ guests to make the most of our on-park facilities and spend time exploring the local area. The beach is just a short walk away and the beautiful towns of Hayle and St Ives are within easy reach by car. A ‘Hire to Buy’ break is also the perfect opportunity to spend time getting to know our friendly team and other owners. You can ask them any questions you have in relaxed and informal way.
Best of all, if you decide to proceed with purchasing the actual holiday home you stayed in after enjoying a ‘Hire to Buy’ break at Atlantic Coast Holiday Park, we’ll deduct DOUBLE the cost of your holiday from the total purchase price.
What is the ‘Hire to Buy’ scheme?
The ‘Hire to Buy’ scheme works on a ‘try before you buy’ basis, allowing prospective holiday home owners to enjoy a break in one of our eligible holiday homes for sale before completing the purchase. This gives you the chance to get a feel for the property over a prolonged period of time and decide whether its size, configuration and location works for you and your family.
We will refund DOUBLE the cost of your holiday if you decide to purchase the actual holiday home you stayed in at the end of your break.
Is there a commitment to purchase?
No, there is no commitment to purchase a holiday home after you stay. We operate a strict ‘no pressure’ approach to sales and pride ourselves on our laid back and friendly customer service. It’s really important that you can progress through the process at your own pace. Take your time and purchase with confidence.
Do I need to pay for the stay?
Yes, you will need to pay for your break, as you would a traditional holiday at Atlantic Coast Holiday Park. ‘Hire to Buy’ stays are charged at our standard holiday home / lodge rate, but you are able to pick the specific property you would like to stay in.
