Atlantic Coast Holiday Park

The Magic Of A Memorable Holiday

A pebble's throw from beautiful beaches, this sand dune fringed Four Star Park provides a peaceful environment in which to spend a memorable holiday. Designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the dunes are a haven for wildlife and a child's dream playground, enticing visitors with the promise of the stunning Gwithian Beach and the sea which swells a short stroll from the park. The lighthouse made famous by Virginia Woolf in 'To the Lighthouse' provides a stunning backdrop to the beaches in this Bay, where bathing, rock pooling and surfing are popular pastimes. Nearby is The National Trust owned Godrevy Beach and Godrevy Point which offers a dramatic setting for an evening picnic, watching the sun descend behind the lighthouse or spotting seals and dolphins in the waters below. Between Godrevy and Portreath is some of the most spectacular scenery on the Cornish Coast best experienced on footpaths, but also accessible by car or by local bus which stops at the park.

St Ives is another local treasure, its' magical light and quaint fishing harbour the inspiration for artists past and present. Their work is celebrated in the Tate Gallery as well as many studios huddled with cafes, restaurants and craft-shops along the narrow streets of the town. Blue Flag beaches, fishing, boat trips and leisure facilities can be enjoyed here, all within easy access by car, bus or train. With its fabulous location, immaculate facilities and friendly on-site managers, Atlantic Coast Caravan Park has the kind of appeal which makes visitors want to return again and again to relive the magic of a memorable holiday.

Out & About

Two miles away in Hayle, a direct train runs between St Ives and Penzance on a wonderfully scenic line. In Penzance, a regular helicopter service provides access to the remote and unspoilt Scilly Isles and from many of the coastal resorts boat trips can provide a fantastic alternative to touring in South West Cornwall; admiring the magnificent landscape and wildlife from the sea.

From flower strewn coastal paths which meander over cliffs, to the gentility of subtropical gardens nurtured by the mild climate, the landscapes here are as diverse as they are magnificent.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan transport visitors to the jungle via bamboo walkways and a canopy of banana trees whilst the Eden Project celebrates a world of horticulture in the iconic setting of the biomes.

A natural paradise awaits visitors to the Lizard Peninsula with its vast panoramas and variety of wildlife. An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Lizard is home to rare flowers and birds, the aquamarine sea habitat to colonies of seals and dolphins.
