With beautiful beaches close by, this sand dune fringed Park provides a peaceful environment in which to spend a memorable holiday. Designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, the dunes are a haven for wildlife and a child’s dream playground, enticing visitors with the promise of the stunning Gwithian Beach and the sea which swells a short stroll from the park. The lighthouse made famous by Virginia Woolf in ‘To the Lighthouse’ provides a stunning backdrop to the beaches in this Bay, where bathing, rock pooling and surfing are popular pastimes. Nearby is The National Trust owned Godrevy Beach and Godrevy Point which offers a dramatic setting for an evening picnic, watching the sun descend behind the lighthouse or spotting seals and dolphins in the waters below.
Atlantic Coast Holiday Park has a secluded camping and touring area nestled beneath the sand dunes. Privacy hedgerows allow you to enjoy your own camping experience and with fully serviced pitches it can be as basic or luxurious as you wish. The Washing-Up room has a microwave, fridge and freezer for you to use, and for those who cannot miss their early morning breakfast fix there is also a kettle and toaster. For those of you who have bought your accommodation with you, there is also a small selection of camping spares including those always forgotten tent pegs. Touring, motor home and tent pitches are situated in a sheltered touring area next to the sand dunes, providing fully serviced and well drained grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook-ups, fresh water and waste drain chemical disposal point and easy access to the toilet & shower block, Launderette and a well stocked shop.
